BPC-157 Spray contains BPC-157, a synthetic 15-residue peptide (Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val) corresponding to a partial sequence of a protein isolated from gastric juice. It is also catalogued as PL 14736 and bepecin.

No specific receptor has been identified for BPC-157. In endothelial-cell and isolated-vessel preparations it is reported to activate the Src–caveolin-1–endothelial nitric oxide synthase pathway, and in vivo rodent pharmacology studies describe interactions with the nitric oxide system and with L-arginine and NOS-inhibitor responses.

BPC-157 Spray is supplied as a pre-dissolved aqueous solution of BPC-157 in a 15 mL metered dispensing container, a format intended to simplify aliquoting and laboratory handling without a separate dissolution step. Keep the container sealed and refrigerated, protected from light, and avoid freezing; identity and purity of the dissolved material should be confirmed analytically before use.
