KLOW Blend is a pre-combined lyophilized mixture of four peptides in a 50:10:10:10 ratio by mass. GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine; KPV is the C-terminal tripeptide (Lys-Pro-Val) of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone; BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-residue peptide from a gastric protein sequence; TB-500 is a synthetic peptide derived from the actin-binding region of thymosin β4.

GHK binds Cu(II) with high affinity and is studied as a cellular copper carrier. KPV is reported to attenuate NF-κB signaling in cultured epithelial cells, with melanocortin-receptor-dependent and receptor-independent routes proposed. BPC-157 has no defined receptor and is reported to interact with the nitric oxide system. Thymosin β4 sequesters monomeric G-actin.
