NAD+ Spray contains nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide in its oxidized form (NAD+, nadide), a dinucleotide composed of nicotinamide mononucleotide and adenosine monophosphate joined through a pyrophosphate bridge.

NAD+ serves as a hydride acceptor in cellular redox reactions, cycling with NADH in glycolysis, the tricarboxylic acid cycle and mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation. It is also consumed as a substrate by sirtuin deacylases, poly(ADP-ribose) polymerases and the CD38 family of NAD+ glycohydrolases.

NAD+ Spray is supplied as a pre-dissolved aqueous solution of NAD+ in a 15 mL metered dispensing container, a format intended to simplify aliquoting and laboratory handling without a separate dissolution step. Keep the container sealed and refrigerated, protected from light, and avoid freezing; identity and purity of the dissolved material should be confirmed analytically before use.
