Wolverine Stack is a pre-combined lyophilized mixture of two synthetic peptides in a 1:1 ratio by mass. BPC-157 is a 15-residue peptide (Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val) derived from a partial sequence of a protein isolated from gastric juice; TB-500 is a synthetic peptide derived from the actin-binding region of thymosin β4, a 43-residue acidic protein.
No specific receptor has been identified for BPC-157; in endothelial-cell and isolated-vessel preparations it is reported to activate the Src–caveolin-1–endothelial nitric oxide synthase pathway and to interact with the nitric oxide system. Thymosin β4 binds monomeric G-actin in a 1:1 complex, sequestering it from polymerization, and is studied in actin-dynamics and cell-migration assays.
The blend is supplied for studies requiring both components together in one preparation. Each component's identity and purity should be verified independently. Handle with standard peptide precautions and protect from moisture and light.
